My drop-in class on Wednesdays has at least allowed me to meet other people, both Finn and non-Finn. The teachers are all very helpful, but there is little structure to the lessons and so I can't easily see any progress in my own learning (cue guilt reflex).

Have just managed to get some info back on the Tai Chi class I used to attend. It is apparently still running and will begin again on the 21st of this month. It has also changed to Sword Form - very graceful and fluid style. I am looking forward to attending, but wondered if anyone has any recommendations for wooden training sword suppliers. Walked on Potland today. Went along West Weare and took photos of the family clambering around on the rocks. Spent a good while just watching the water lapping at the rocks - very soothing and hypnotic. I could have stayed for hours ( Read more... )

Still not 'feeling', but maybe that's a blessing. I have a numb little lump in my chest. But otherwise I'm fine and functioning. Got up and cleared up the kitchen this morning. I haven't looked in there for weeks. I did some general tidying and watered all my plants. I think I'm better. I'm at least noticing things ( Read more... )

I am currently looking at my new fantastic flat-screen 17" monitor! and all my resolution settings are now on 1024 by 768 pixels and I can still read the screen! Well hooray - maybe I'm not going blind after all ( Read more... )
